Many many years ago, a kind friend gifted me a full set of original 60s Man From U.N.C.L.E bubblegum cards. Then last year my flat sustained a serious water incursion which took out the cupboard in which I’d lovingly stored all of my most treasured knick-knacks. Thought that said cards had gone forever. I’m delighted to discover today that they survived, albeit several in an awfully water-damaged state. You can see how close they came to destruction. Thought I’d share them with you. They are – there’s no two ways about it – absolutely bloody wonderful, and I’m so glad to have found them again. You should be able to clicky the pic in order to get the larger res versions.

They do, don’t they? I may have lost all of my deluxe Dan Dare reprints, but at least these survived. Ah, well. Swings and Roundabouts…
